Wake up, it’s Monday! Let’s get your beans percolating with some Monday Morning Rocketfuel.

“You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.”
-Dale Carnegie
What’s your favorite thing in the world to talk about? I bet I can guess, because it’s mine, too.

You might be thinking, “Hey that’s great! I love to talk about myself.” And you’re not alone.
The average salesperson monopolizes 75% of sales conversations. But research shows the golden ratio for increasing sales as 43/57.
Improving your listening skills can dramatically increase your sales.
Exercise Your Ears
This week, try to make sure every person you meet talks more about themselves than you do. Schedule a one-to-one just to listen to someone’s story. See what happens.
