Listen up! 🔊Now is the perfect time to form daily habits that will serve you well beyond the current crisis. Fortunately, I’ve got one that’s easy, free, and maybe even save your sanity while you’re stuck inside with the kids.

“Podcasting might be thought of as a form of academic gift.” – Les Back, author of The Art of Listening

Listening to podcasts is a relaxing, enjoyable way to grow professionally and personally. It’s an opportunity to learn from highly-respected industry leaders while sipping your morning coffee, driving to find toilet paper, or just trying to tune out the kids for a while. Plus, they don’t cost a dime.

Here are 5 of my favorite business and professional development podcasts. You can find them on Apple Podcast, Google Play Music, Spotify or your listening platform of choice.

1. EntreLeadership – The Ramsey Network

A combination of entrepreneurship and leadership, host Alex Judd interviews different entrepreneurs across all industries to discover how they grow themselves — which grows their businesses. Dave Ramsey’s EntreLeadership helps you learn business leadership skills like time delegation, business financial wellness, personal and business growth, and even advice of hiring and firing. It’s truly a horde of knowledge to learn from. Topics vary from learning how to build a positive work culture, to tackling business debt you may have accumulated.

2. RISE – Rachel Hollis

Rachel Hollis, bestselling author of Girl Stop Apologizing, takes a holistic approach to her leadership and business strategies on “RISE”. She tackles problems like unlocking potential, not caring what others think, and overcoming fears to find the true gift in criticism. Furthermore, Hollis is well-known for her national tours of business conferences and empowering her listeners with advice on how personal growth inherently helps business growth.

3. The Tim Ferriss Show – Tim Ferriss

Tim Ferriss takes a different approach to business on “The Tim Ferriss Show” by interviewing different types of successful people. Guests like Maria Sharapova, Neil Gaiman, Jon Favreau, and Jamie Foxx have sat down to talk with Tim Ferriss about their routines for success. Topics can be favorite books, hitting the gym, or implementing helpful time-management tricks. Additionally, Tim Ferriss has unlocked secrets to personal and business growth in his interviews with celebrities. For uplifting advice to incorporate in your everyday life, this is a great business podcast to learn from.

4. Entrepreneurs on Fire – John Lee Dumas

On his podcast, “Entrepreneurs on Fire,” John Lee Dumas targets listeners who are tired of spending 90% of their days doing what they hate and only 10% doing what they love. Dumas helps people fire up themselves to start an entrepreneurial journey by taking a uber-positive approach on the hustle and grind of entrepreneurs. Additionally, instead of interviewing already-successful business owners and celebrities, Dumas focuses on those who haven’t made it big, but are still successful entrepreneurs — and he does it daily.

5. The Official BNI Podcast – Ivan Misner

And here’s one last amazing business podcast to learn from. Hailed as the Father of Modern Networking, Ivan Misner connects with thousands of listeners weekly on “The Official BNI Podcast,” where he discusses best practices for business networking. Moreover, Misner is the founder of BNI, a business networking group with chapters all over the country. This is one fantastic business podcast to learn from if you’ve struggled with expanding or maintaining your business network.
